I think that's an extension of your efforts toward consistency.<br /><br />If your POV character is an uneducated thirteen-year-old, can the narrative surrounding the dialogue sound like a grammatically correct librarian? And what happens when, in the next chapter, you switch to the librarian's POV. Let's make it fun and say she's having a conversation with the thirteen-year-old.Don McCandlessnoreply@blogger.com
